About Eric A. Zimmer, MBA, PhD

With more than three decades of experience in fiscal, strategic, operational, and spiritual leadership, Eric Zimmer has guided educational institutions, nonprofits, and boards through transformational growth. His leadership tenure includes service as President of the University of Saint Francis (Fort Wayne, IN), where he led a sweeping financial turnaround marked by increased enrollment, endowment growth of over 50%, and consistent operational surpluses.

Eric earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a PhD in Communications Theory from the University of Pennsylvania, and brings deep experience as a strategist, communicator, and executive advisor. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, he has held faculty and leadership roles at the University of Notre Dame, Creighton University, and Georgetown University.
